Pacman is a video game that was released in 1980 by Namco (then- Namco Bandai) who created the game as an eat ’em up style arcade video game. The player controls Pacman through a maze eating pac-dots, fruits, and monsters while avoiding being caught by one of four ghosts; Sue (blue), Jay (red), Blinky (purple), and Inky (pink). When all the dots from one level are eaten or when pacman touches one of the monsters or gets caught by any of the ghosts then he is sent back to start of that level.

How To Play The Game

– One player begins as Pacman Doodle and the other is a ghost trying to capture him. – You move by pressing buttons on the game pad: Up, Down, Left, or Right. – Pressing any of these buttons will cause Pacman (and the ghosts) to move in that direction until they hit a wall or press another button. If a ghost touches Pacman then they eat him and get one point! Power pellets make you faster while pellets give you points.

Why Was Pacman Created?
