Your identification and proof of address are both possible with Aadhaar. You will receive a hard copy of your Aadhaar Card if enrollment is successful. However, you can also access your Aadhaar in soft copy form online. You can download e-Aadhaar from a variety of sources. A password-protected PDF file contains the e-Aadhaar. It can also be used for official purposes because it is digitally signed by the UDAI authority. How to download Aadhaar Card using various platforms is covered in this article.

E-Aadhaar Card with Aadhaar Number to Download

The steps to download an Aadhaar Card with an Aadhaar Number are as follows:

 

  • visit the Aadhaar official website.
  •  Click “Download Aadhaar” under the “Get Aadhaar” section.
  • Choose the “Download Aadhaar” option on the following page.
  • The Aadhaar Number option should then be chosen.
  • Put in your Aadhaar number.
  • Fill out the security code
  • select “Send OTP” from the menu.
  • Click the Verify and Download button to continue.
  • The Aadhaar Card in PDF format will be downloaded automatically. The file is password-protected, though.

The password is a combination of your year of birth in YYYY format and the first four letters of your name (as it appears on your Aadhaar) in CAPITAL letters.

 

For instance, if your name is Nishanth Reddy and your birth year is 1992, then NISH1992 is the password for your e-Aadhaar.

 

Download Aadhar Card with Enrolment ID

A step-by-step tutorial for downloading an Aadhaar card with an enrollment ID is provided below:

 

  • Visit the Aadhaar Official Website.
  • Click “Download Aadhaar” under the “Get Aadhaar” section.
  • Choose the “Download Aadhaar” option on the following page.
  • Choose the Enrolment ID option next.
  • Fill out the Enrolment ID number.
  • Fill out the security code
  • select “Send OTP” from the menu.
  • Click the Verify and Download button to continue.
  • The Aadhaar Card in PDF format will be downloaded automatically. The file is password-protected, though.

Download E-Aadhaar with Virtual ID

Following is a step-by-step guide to download Aadhaar Card with Virtual ID:

 

  • Visit the Official Aadhaar Website
  • Under the ‘Get Aadhaar’ section, click on ‘Download Aadhaar’.
  • On the following page, select the ‘Download Aadhaar’ option.
  • Next, select the Virtual ID option.
  • Enter the Virtual ID Number
  • Enter the Security Code
  • Click on the send OTP button
  • To proceed, click on the Verify and Download button.
  • The Aadhaar Card in a PDF format will automatically get downloaded. However, the document is password protected.

Aadhar Card Download by Name and Mobile Number

You can still download the Aadhaar card even if you don’t have your Aadhaar Number, Enrolment ID, or Virtual ID. With your name and cellphone number, you can retrieve your Aadhaar number or Enrolment ID.

 

  • Check out the UIDAI Website.
  • Choose the “Retrieve Lost or Forgotten EID/ UID” option under the “Get Aadhaar” section.
  • You must fill out the following information on the following page:
  • Choose this. I need to find my misplaced or forgotten: Enrolment ID or Aadhaar No (UID) (EID)
  • Total Name
  • Email address or phone number
  • Captcha Verification
  • Click the Send OTP button after entering all the necessary information to have your OTP sent to the registered mobile number.
  • To retrieve your EID or UID information, enter the OTP.

 

Download Aadhaar Card via mAadhaar App

The mAadhaar App allows you to download your Aadhaar card. The processes to download the card via the mAadhaar App are as follows:

 

  • From the Google Play Store or the App Store, download the mAadhaar app.
  • Use your Aadhaar-registered mobile number and OTP to log into the app.
  • To download your Aadhaar Card, go to the homepage and click “Download Aadhaar.”
  • Choose a preference: Masked Aadhaar or Regular Aadhaar
  • After that, choose Aadhaar Number, Enrolment ID, or Virtual ID.
  • As appropriate, provide your Aadhaar number, enrollment ID, or virtual ID.
  • Request an OTP and enter the security captcha
  • Type the OTP in
  • A password-protected PDF file serves as the e-copy of the Aadhaar Copy.
